Where to find saved WiFi passwords on Rooted device?

Find all WiFi passwords on your Android in case it is rooted.

If you reset your phone often and want to keep all saved passwords for WiFi connections then I suggest to save this file.

This only applies for Rooted Android devices – in this particular case it is KitKat 4.4.2 OS version on LG G Pro Lite. Here you can see how to root this phone.

File you need to recover all your saved WiFi passwords is on this path

/data/misc/wifi/sockets

Find it and just do upload on cloud drive you use. Later, if it is necessary you can just download it on that path and you can use it in a way to know all WiFi passwords you had used already.

This comes handy if you do factory reset often and you don’t wanna remember all passwords to use WiFi on places you go. In this way you can retype them or just rewrite your original new file (after you have done factory reset) with this one. After copying this file just reset your phone. You will get all these passwords once again.

This is example of that file
